We have learnt from the audience feedback that the 'Day of the Dead' designs were a very effective way of getting the audiences attention as they found the designs to be very interesting and therefore were intrigued to see the video. We have discovered that the designs of the digipaks and the video are just as important as the content of the video as this can allow a whole new section within our target audience to gain interest, our audience has mostly come back with positive feedback towards the project and therefore they seem to be happy with the way the project is progressing.
There are 5 stages to a narrative (story) and Todorov states that every plot tends to follow said stages. These include: Equilibrium: The start of the narrative. Typically it shows a world with little to no disturbances and usually shows a happy beginning. Disruption: Then the plot takes a turn and there is a certain part of the narrative that ends up taking the story into disruption. Realisation of the Disruption: The characters in the narrative will then become aware of the disruption mentioned previously. They tend to take action or plan to take action as soon as they realise what is going on. Process of restoring the equilibrium: The plot then follows the main character(s) trying to combat the disturbance and they aim to restore the world to what it was (it's original equilibrium). Restored Equilibrium: At the end of the narrative the world is back to normal and normality can resume once more.
